You can expect clear, fast flowing rapids with a beautiful Rocky Mountain backdrop. This river has an inconsistent season, so call our office for details. Running 5 miles of this river only, your trip will be an hour long. If you are looking for a longer intermediate trip, we recommend checking out our Browns Canyon adventure. The minimum age for Boulder Canyon is 6.

  • Transportation from Frisco to Blue River put-in and back
  • Helmets, life jackets and paddles

Excludes:

  • Wetsuits, neoprene booties and splash jackets (available for rent)

Day by Day Itinerary

1/2 Day Itinerary

Our Boulder Canyon trip meets in Frisco where we will load you in our bus or van and haul you to the river. Once at the put-in, you will be given a safety talk to learn about different situations on the river. Your guide will then teach you his or her paddle commands and give you a little time to practice them on dry land. Once you hit the water, you will have some time to perfect your paddle strokes before we hit the first rapid. Unfortunately we are only able to raft 5 miles of this special river, which only amounts to an hour on the river. Our dependable drivers will be waiting for you at the take out to drive you back to you vehicle in Frisco.

Driven by our passion for the activities we offer, we have raised the standard for quality amongst Colorado's outfitters. In 2003, we became the only outfitter in Colorado to adopt a "No First-Year Guide" policy. The most important way to ensure your safety and enjoyment is to have an experienced guide controlling your raft. We are the only outfitter in Colorado to exclusively provide you with guides who are, at least, in their fourth year of professional guiding.
