Cycle the entire length of Vermont, 200 miles in two days, stopping at as many swimming holes as you'd like. We begin at the Canadian border and finish at the Massachusetts border. Friday night we stay at Jay Village Inn. Saturday we depart bright and early by 6 a.m. and begin our journey south through Vermont's famous ski villages, Stowe, Waitsfield and Warren. One hundred and five miles later we'll arrive at The Swiss Farm Inn. A well-deserved hearty dinner awaits. Sunday we again rise early and continue south through Plymouth, Ludlow and Jamaica on our way to the Massachusetts border. Along the way you'll see all that Vermont has to offer: covered bridges, apple orchards, cows, endless pastures, Ben & Jerry's, cool rivers for swimming and much more.

The tour meets in Richmond, Vermont and POMG shuttles you north to the Canadian border. Your gear will be transported to Swiss Farm Inn where we stay Saturday night. At the conclusion of the tour we offer a shuttle back to Richmond. Friday shuttle from Massachusetts border $75.

Why Bed & Breakfast Bike Tours?
Vermont is famous for its quaint and charming Bed & Breakfasts. For those who do not enjoy camping, the B&B experience is just the thing. We are fortunate to have a great variety of B&B's whose innkeepers have year's of experience pampering cyclists with homemade specialties and Vermont hospitality.

Why Vermont?
Covered bridges, Green Mountains, wildlife, deep blue glacier-formed lakes and clear cool rivers. Country stores, antique shops and maple syrup. Endless pastures, gardens and vivid wild flowers, and most of all, unparalleled cycling terrain. Did we mention Ben & Jerry's?

President Calvin Coolidge, a Vermonter, once said, "I love Vermont because of her hills and valleys, her scenery and invigorating climate, but most of all, because of her indomitable people. If the spirit of liberty should vanish in other parts of the union and support of our institutions should languish, it could all be replenished from the generous store held by the people of this brave little state of Vermont." We agree.

Why POMG?
"Peace Of Mind Guaranteed." This was my Grandpa Savitt's slogan from his store in Hartford, Connecticut. He taught me that there is no substitute for customer service. "Practice the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you," (thanks Grandpa!) We practice the Golden Rule, you get POMG.

Our Tour Leaders
Our tour leaders are the best in the industry. We are all trained in bike repair, basic First Aid and CPR, and Gourmet Camp Cuisine (for custom camping tours). We are a highly responsive team, focusing on your needs to provide a safe and unforgettable experience.

These are just a few reasons to choose an active weekend or 5-Day trip with POMG Bike Tours of Vermont. Come experience the rest!
