Enjoy paddling the splendor of the sheltered bays and rocky coastlines of John’s Bay and Boothbay Harbor during a four-day adventure while enjoying the comfort of hot showers, gourmet meals, and soft, cozy beds in the evenings.
The Four-Day Inn to Inn Trip will begin with an enjoyable full day of kayaking and island hopping with a stop for a sea side picnic lunch on our way to our Christmas Cove bed and breakfast destination. Dinner is enjoyed coveside while soaking in the sights of the bay. After a delicious breakfast on the morning of day two, we will enjoy a scenic and leisurely paddle to Linekin Bay and Boothbay Harbor with an island stop for a picnic lunch on our way to a welcome coastal resort retreat and gourmet dinner. Enjoy coffee and pastries overlooking the scenery of Boothbay before setting out for another full day of sea kayaking. Day three will be spent exploring the inlets and islands of Boothbay Harbor and the Damariscotta River, complete with sea side picnic, on our way back to Christmas Cove for another wonderful bed and breakfast stay. Wake to fresh coffee on the Inn's harborside porch—a wonderful way to begin the last day on the water. Day four will be spent enjoying scenic Johns Bay and Pemaquid Harbor on our way back home, taking in the sights and sounds of this historic harbor.

Day 1
8:30 am - Meet at Maine Kayak's New Harbor Base
Morning to Noon - Pre-trip briefing and go paddling
-Pre trip briefing
-Introduction to sea kayak equipment and gear
-Safety issues, concerns, techniques
-Stroke technique and paddling form
-Go paddling along the Johns Bay shoreline and look for wildlife - seals, ospreys, terns, and seals
Noon - Enjoy a seaside picnic lunch
Early Afternoon to Mid-Afternoon - Review morning and go paddling
-Leisurely paddle to Sunset Bed and Breakfast on Rutherford Island
-Check In and Unwind
Early Evening - Sunset paddle or walk and snooze
-Paddle or walk to Christmas Cove for dinner
-Enjoy a gourmet dinner on the deck overlooking the harbor
-Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean
