Full Description

Climb Casaval Ridge, the spectacular southside ridge route to the Summit of Mt. Shasta (14,162 ft.)

Join us for a three-day guided climb of Mt. Shasta Classic Casaval Ridge. This Climb is only "in shape" in early to late spring when there is plenty of snow to cover the rocky ridge. Steep terrain and spectacular views await the intermediate climber on this exciting route. Determination, excellent physical condition, previous ice ax and crampons skills are required for the ascent. We will make a high camp on the Casaval Ridge and review your skills prior to our attempt of the summit. Technical skills, steep terrain, and weather make this an excellent experience climb for Mt. McKinley, Mexico Volcanoes or South America Expeditions.
